Beauford Biscuits
Ingredients
2 C. flour 5 T. cold butter
1 T. baking powder 2/3 C. milk
1/2 t. salt
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in bowl. Cut butter into
small pieces and cut into flour mixture with a pastry blender
until it has the consistency of breadcrumbs. Mix milk in with
a fork and knead dough on lightly floured surface about 12
times. Roll out to a rectangle or square 3/4" thick. Cut
into squares and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 12-14
minutes in 450 degree oven.
