Gluten with Broccoli
Ingredients
1 C. gluten (homemade or commercial), sliced
1 t. ginger juice
2 T. soy sauce
2 C. broccoli, sliced
2 T. cooking oil
1 C. water
1 medium onion, sliced
1/2 t. salt
1 t. sugar
1 T. cornstarch
2 C. soup stock
noodles
toasted sesame seeds
Marinate gluten in ginger juice and soy sauce. Let stand for 30
minutes. Meanwhile saute broccoli slightly in 1 T. of oil, add
water and simmer for 2 minutes, or until broccoli is tender.
Remove from pan. Reheat pan and add remaining oil, saute gluten
and onion until browned. Add broccoli and combine remaining
ingredients except noodles and sesame seeds. Cook until sauce
thickens. Serve on noodles with toasted sesame seeds.
