Sweet Cornbread
Ingredients
1 C. yellow cornmeal 1/4 C. sugar
1 C. flour 1 egg, slightly beaten
1 t. baking powder 1 C. milk
1 t. salt 1/4 C. cooking oil
Mix dry ingredients together. In separate bowl, mix milk and
oil together thoroughly blended. Mix in egg, then stir into dry
ingredients, just until blended. Pour into greased 8" -
9" baking pan, and bake at 400 degrees until lightly
browned on top, 20 - 25 minutes. Serve hot with honey
butter.
