Christmas Drops
Ingredients
1 C. butter 1 T. rum extract
1/2 C. sugar 1/2 baking soda
1/2 C. brown sugar 2 C. + 2 T. flour
1 egg
Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and rum extract. Mix dry
ingredients and blend into sugar mixture. Smooth dough into
8" square pan; chill. Remove and cut into 64 squares. Roll
each into a ball and place on cookie sheets, 2" apart.
Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 10 minutes at
350 degrees.
