Tamale Pie
Ingredients
1 lb.onions, chopped
l lb. ground gluten or other
vegetarian burger
1/4 - 1/2 C. oil
1 C. milk
1 - 2 cans chopped olives
1 large can creamed corn
2 small cans tomato sauce
3/4 C. corn meal
3 eggs beaten
chili powder, salt & pepper to taste
Brown onions and burger lightly. Add corn, spices and tomato
sauce. Soak corn meal and milk while browning burger. Add Corn
meal to burger mix. Add oil, beaten eggs, and olives. Mix well
and pour into greased casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for
45 - 60 minutes.
